Things to do in and around Yzerfontein

Take a walk on the 16-mile beach at Yzerfontein; rent a canoe or kayak from Yzerfontein Sea Sport; go on a horseback safari; visit the game farm at Buffelsfontein; see a show at Evita's Perron in Darling; do a chocolate and wine pairing at Ormonde Wine Estate or taste local wines at Blake's Family Wine and Darling Cellars. Visit Yzer Bru, our busy little brewery just next door to Kaijaiki Country Inn and make sure you do not miss Darling Olive Farm on your way to Darling Sweets where you can buy some toffee souvenirs. Make sure to visit Postberg (a completely undisturbed floral landscape in the West Coast National Park) during August and September and go for a picnic/braai afterwards at Tsaarsbank.
