KAIJAIKI, meaning small, humble dwelling, is owned by Ren‚ and Mary Ann Bosch.

Ren‚, a Dutchman, is a skilled chef and winner of the "Silveren kokslepel" an award given for excellent cooking in the Netherlands.

Mary Ann hails from the Cape and is the designer of Kaijaiki - the name , building and interior. 

Only 45 min drive form Cape Town, Yzerfontein typifies all that is best in a beach village, A sense of calm serenity prevails here. Whales enter the bay to calve in the summer months and can regularly be seen enjoying themselves.

Yzerfontein is a proclaimed urban conservancy where natural fynbos has been retained. Walks have been laid out for those who want to stroll along the shore.
